Hi Pete,
An excellent book on the whole subject (IMHO) is "Storming Heaven: LSD and
the American Dream" by Jay Stephens (or Stevens).  It was published around
1987 and is pretty widely available.  The book is very well researched
and totally documented, as well as being a great look at the whole
Leary/Kesey thing. Enjoy!
